Mosques of China by Imperial Dynasty
Foundation dates and dynastic attribution of mosques across the Chinese imperial succession.
A gazetteer of mosque foundations across China, classified by the ruling dynasty at the time of construction or first attestation. Foundations are mapped from the Tang through the Qing, allowing the diffusion of Islamic religious architecture to be read against the political geography of successive imperial regimes.

Compiled at build time from the Wikidata Query Service: all entities that are (a subclass of) a mosque located in China and carrying a coordinate location (P625). Where an inception date (P571) is recorded it is reduced to a foundation year; the dynastic attribution is then DERIVED from that year against the imperial succession (Tang 618–906 · Song 907–1278 · Yuan 1279–1367 · Ming 1368–1643 · Qing 1644–1911; otherwise Pre-Tang / Modern / Undated). The query and access timestamp below constitute the reproducibility statement.
Dynasty derived from foundation year (P571); not asserted directly in Wikidata.
